2019 Yonsei MBA Year-End Party (MBA 총원우회) was held on last Saturday (21/12) at the Intercontinental Seoul Coex Diamond Hall. Students from GMBA, CMBA, FMBA and EMBA (OneMBA) were present to celebrate the end of a year. It is one of the grand events that Yonsei MBA hold every year.
We, GMBA Class of 2021 attendees, took a group photo at the photo zone.
At the beginning of the event, two student emcees, one being student of GMBA Class of 2021 - Marie Kim, started off the event right on time at 6pm with introduction of the event and speeches from respective alumni and professors. There were also videos played, showcasing all the events and activities that OneMBA students held and did throughout the year of 2019. The MC of the day was MC 배 (Bae), who is a famous emcee in South Korea. He had emceed for a lot of events in South Korea, including big awards shows and had interviews with many Korean artists.
Before dinner time, MC 배 went through all the lucky draw gifts that were all sponsored by our beloved alumni, to get us all excited. He definitely made the party alive with his energy. The party was hosted in full Korean, it was like a listening test for some of us.
Dinner was served rather speedy. Everybody was hungry and were anticipating for the dinner course. We were served with a 5 course meal as below. Not to mention, we had red wine and white wine too throughout the course meal. It was so good.

Trio of Pan-Seared Tuna, Creamy Wasabi Mousse, Paprika Salsa
Cream of Chestnut Sweet Potato Soup
Main:
Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Herb-Infused Mashed Potatoes, Vegetables, Black Pepper Sauce
Seasonal Salad, Cranberries, Walnuts, Kiwi Dressing
Dessert:
Caramel Mousse, Hazelnut
After dinner, we played some games and there were performances too! And of course, Anica Kim and O-seop Sim, students of GMBA Class of 2021 volunteered to dedicate us a Christmas song, "Last Christmas". It was wonderful! After many rounds of games and performances, it was lucky draw time! The even was supposed to end at 10pm but there were so many games so the timing was a bit off. Nonetheless, the party ended at a high note with cheers and happy faces.
We were gifted with door gift while we exit the hall. Everybody got a Yonsei Umbrella and a metal clock of, of course, Yonsei too! The food was good and the ambience was great. It is one of the big events where a lot of alumni and MBA students attend. We hope to attend more of these events in the future too with more of our batch mates!
